Why Hijab and Abaya?

Muslim women wear abayas to protect their modesty and obey their lord.  The abaya is a symbol of modesty and submission to God.  Islamic shariah stipulates that women should wear modest clothing in public.  

What is your size chart?

Keep in mind depending on how loose or tight fitting you want, give or take a few inches to see what size suits you best.  Our sample fit small fits a perfect Abaya A line cut for the measurements above.  ** The same size factors do not apply to our one of a kind abaya category.**

What is Refunds and Exchange policy?

However, if you are unsatisfied with a product for any reason, you may send the product back to DesignsofDubai and request a refund or exchange. To do so, please follow the instructions below:

To receive a refund or exchange, merchandise must be unwashed, unworn, and received within 7 days of the original purchase date by UPS or DHL insured mail to

1.  Re-pack and seal the product securely
2.  Include the original invoice in the return package
3.  Complete the Return/Exchange form and include this completed form in your return   package – you can obtain the return form by emailing us at designsofdubai@gmail.com
4. If you desire an exchange, please be sure to choose on the Return/Exchange form the new size and/or color selection you need.
5.  Once when receive your return, we will refund your money excluding the shipping cost.
6. For refunds, the amount that was paid will be refunded back to the credit card or PayPal account that was used to make the purchase.

What is your shipping policy?

Currently we’re only offering USPS ground shipping upon confirmation of your order. 

Do you have a catalog I can order from?
Actually, we don't have a hard copy catalogue in the current time. You can check out our online catalogue.

What is Islami cut?

Islami cut is a envelope style snap closure. Similar to a mens double breasted suit.

What does a closed front abaya mean?

A closed front abaya is a abaya that you wear over the head. No snaps.

What does an open front abaya mean?

A open front abaya is a snap closure right down the center front all the way to the knee.

What is morocco fabric?

Morocco is a lighter weight material we offer. It’s especially great for the summer cause it’s thinner and cooler than the Saudi crepe.

What is Salana?

Salana is our super lux material we offer in our high end Abayas. Salana is softer version of the ouluwa Saudi crepe.

What is Ouluwa Saudi crepe internet #1?

Ouluwa Saudi crepe internet #1 is the # 1 material used for abayas in Dubai as well as other gulf countries. It’s popular cause of its crisp tailored look.  Elegant the  way it hangs on the body.

What is an A-line cut?

An A-line cut is the shape of an abaya from the shoulders down to the hem in the letter A shape. Narrow on top, wide at the hem. This shape gives a very clean and elegant look. Slimming but yet still hides the womens shape around the hips verses the ordinary baggy unkempt look.

What is a hidden pocket?

A hidden pocket is inserted on the right side seam of the abaya. Deep enough for a cell phone or wallet to fit into. No one will be able to see there is a pocket.

Do you have all sizes?
You can find the suitable size that fit your body. Each garment we have in the website come with its Size Guide, so please check carefully your size before going to buy it. For special sizes please don't hesitate to contact us at this e-mail designsofdubai@gmail.com

You can visit our site from time to time, or if you are listed in our mailing list, we will notify you regularly about new designs and updates.
How many days to get my order delivered to me?
Currentley we are offering 5 business day ground with USPS.We are doing our best to shorten the time length for delivery time. Designsofdubai.com promises you to ship your order within 3 business days, so it should reach you in less then 10 business days by USPS Ground.

Should I have an account to place order in designs of dubai.com?
We make sure that your personal information is secured, you need to sign up with us to serve you better. You will be prompted to sign up when placing an order with us.

How about my privacy?

We have taken many measures to safeguard and protect your privacy, while providing you with a unique and rewarding online shopping experience.  All credit card processing is done by Paypal, a well known safe and secure encryption tool.

What do I do if I've changed my email address?

Can I track my order?

If you would like to track your package before your order is complete please go under shipping pick delivery confirmation.  Their is a small fee for this of .75. The USPS charges us this in order to give us a tracking number.  Once we have shipped your items we will send you this number then, you can check the status of your package on www.usps.com.

The color of the item I ordered is different then whats on your site?

We do our best to describe the item to its original qualities. But with lighting some items might appear brighter or darker than the original.

What does One of a kind abaya mean?

It means we only carry one of that item. It might come in a small, med, or large. But the same size factors that our other abayas have do not apply to these items.
